Our objective is to share with you the joy we have found in the art and the artists that have been discovered in over 40 years of searching and learning. Encouraged by our artist mentors, David Burliuk and Sterling Strauser,we have tried to follow their admonition to"trust the eye". We have listened to the artists that we have met, heard their hearts and souls and tried to understand their compulsion to create art. We think their art offers special insights, often beauty and always added richness to our world. That is why we are trying to assist some of them in presenting their works to a broader audience.

Our intent is to show the works of a selected group of artists who are worthy of your consideration.Some are very accomplished and have established reputations. Some have made their mark and are gone from this life. Others are more recently discovered but are doing exciting and valuable work. Primarily the artists we present are self- taught, frequently folk, outsider or visionary artists, for they have been a primary focus for some time. However, from time to time, artists that would be considered more mainstream, more polished even sophisticated, will be included for you to share.
